Data Analyst
I am a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Master of Community Planning Program. I have developed five – year action plans for municipalities, evaluated bicycle master plans with ArcGIS, and assessed zoning and housing conditions in the Washington D.C. – Baltimore region. I have experience working with stakeholders, providing analysis to decision makers, and writing reports.

Associate Planner – Housing – Placer County Community Development Resource Agency
(2021– Present)
In my current role I conduct research on new state legislation to propose new policies and ordinances to conform with changes in state law. I served as the implementation lead on the County’s implementation of Senate Bill 9. Served as policy expert and co-lead for the County’s Housing Related Code Amendments, which included utilizing parcel level data to identify vacant parcels, gauge impact, and develop reports on the amendments. The amendments consisted of a Comprehensive/General Plan Amendment, Zoning Text Amendment, Zoning Map Amendment, and the Development of a Multifamily and Mixed Use Design Manual. Serve as co-lead on the implementation of the County’s Housing Element. Developed a metrics dashboard to track permits agency wide and assess staffing capacity. Developed grant applications for state, federal, and regional grant programs. Assisted with the creation of housing programs and the development of program guidelines to meet program goals and state/federal regulations.
Assistant Planner – Housing – Placer County Community Development Resource Agency
(2020– 2021)
Oversaw HOME, CDBG, and CalHome grant programs for the County. Developed and oversaw a Zoning Text Amendment to alter standards for Single Room Occupancy (SRO) land uses. Assisted with the development and public outreach of the County’s Housing Element. This included collecting sewer and water infrastructure data, assisting with the development of local policies, conducting outreach, and copy editing drafts. Created reports on the loan portfolio and grant programs for decision makers.
Graduate Assistant – University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation

Developed and delivered lectures on basic urban planning concepts for introductory urban planning concepts. Created and graded exams as well as assignments for students. Conducted a literature review on urban flooding literature as part of an academic paper concerning flooding in the Washington D.C. region.
Analyst II – American Red Cross
(2018 – 2019)
Led projects evaluating resource allocation and developing new reporting systems. Developed a reporting scorecard for the implementation of a national program which drew data from 13 different data sources. Presented an analysis of the program to senior leadership. Evaluated new programs and products for viability. Monitored and recommended process improvements to current collections operations to improve efficiency. Became a subject matter expert on new database software for the department.

Developed cost models to determine the pricing for specialty therapeutic products. Evaluated markets to recommend whether they were appropriate for permanent collection sites. Used basic statistics to help senior leadership understand current operations needs and areas for improvement. Built a raster tool in Microsoft Excel to identify site viability for disaster warehouse placement
